The Makerspace lab at Khaitan Public School has been set up with the purpose of helping to prepare our students for the critical 21st century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEAM). It provides hands-on learning, helps with critical thinking skills and even boosts the students' self-confidence. Some of the skills that are learned in the KPS Makerspace, pertain to electronics, 3D printing, 3D modeling, coding, robotics and even woodwork. Makerspace fosters entrepreneurship in the young learners as it helps them ideate and create new and exciting things.
