A student is eligible for admission to KPS on the basis of age, basic interaction and a general proficiency test, which is held for students seeking admission to class I and above.
The age criteria are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for Class XI for session 2023-24

Note – The School reserves the right to make amendments in the above mentioned classes/criteria keeping in view the results of students in Class X.
Nursery: Child should be at least 3 years old as of 31st July 2024.
LKG: Child should be at least 4 years old as of 31st July 2024.
UKG: Child should be at least 5 years old as of 31st July 2024.
Grade I: Child should be at least 6 years old as of 31st July 2024.
Higher Classes: Admission is based on available vacancies. The child seeking admission must have passed the prior grade in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Note: Admissions not aligning with the age criteria will be declined.
For Pre-Primary, the child to teacher ratio is 15:1.
For Class I to XII, the child to teacher ratio is 36:1.
The Admission Test Results are declared on the same date, except if the test was conducted for admission to Class IX and XI. In that case, we take 2 working days to declare the results.
We are a Senior Secondary school till XII standard.

In total, a student has more than 30 options before him/her to choose the best subjects. As the NEP-2020 is paving way for the future of education, KPS wants to offer more choice & flexibility to the students. Therefore some new subjects are added besides the traditional subjects from session 2022-23 onwards.

*Parents are requested not to insist on meeting the teachers during school hours, however they can meet the class / subject teacher on working Saturdays between 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm or any other working day only by prior appointment through Almanac.
