Age Eligibility & Criteria
  • Nursery: Child should be 3+ years (as on 31st July) of the admission year.
  • LKG: Child should be 4+ years (as on 31st July) of the admission year.
  • UKG: Child should be 5+ years (as on 31st July) of the admission year.
  • 1st Class: Child should be 6+ years (as on 31st July) of the admission year.
  • Placements are based on meeting the age requirement exactly; late or early eligibility will not be accommodated.

FAQs

What is the age criteria for admission?

Nursery: Child should be at least 3 years old as of 31st July 2026.

LKG: Child should be at least 4 years old as of 31st July 2026.

UKG: Child should be at least 5 years old as of 31st July 2026.

Grade I: Child should be at least 6 years old as of 31st July 2026.

Higher Classes: Admission is based on available vacancies. The child seeking admission must have passed the prior grade in a CBSE-affiliated school.

For Pre-Primary, the child to teacher ratio is 17:1.

For Class I to XII, the child to teacher ratio is 36:1.

The Admission Test Results are declared on the same date, except if the test was conducted for admission to Class IX and XI. In that case, we take 2 working days to declare the results.

The registration fee of ₹1100/- is payable once and is non-refundable.

We are a Senior Secondary school till XII standard.

In total, a student has more than 30 options before him/her to choose the best subjects. As the NEP-2020 is paving way for the future of education, KPS wants to offer more choice & flexibility to the students. Therefore some new subjects are added besides the traditional subjects from session 2022-23 onwards.
