The world is changing, now change yourself
The world in which we are living is undergoing a rapid transformation – technological, physiological and physical. With every single step ahead, we are heading towards a more challenging life where everything is changing. Which direction we choose solely depends on us.
We all have been hearing that a person learns from experiences and mistakes but have never worked on that learning. Now it is time to be alert and accept the positives of each moment and forget about negativity. Today, the whole world is fighting a pandemic (COVID-19). After a few years, it would be another epidemic if we don’t change our lifestyle. Each thing has its own pros and cons but it is our duty to work and enjoy its opportunities and live every moment with a smile on the face.
We can breathe in pure air, explore the sky, and experience a relaxed life. This situation reminds me of Pablo Neruda’s poem ‘Keeping Quiet’ where he says
” Now we will count to twelve and we will all keep still for once on the face of the earth, let’s not speak in any language; let’s stop for a second, and not move our arms so much.
It would be an exotic moment without rush, without engines; we would all be together in a sudden strangeness. ”
This pandemic is a prime example of light at the end of a tunnel and every experience brings with it a lesson. Coronavirus has taught us to limit pollution, our usage of natural & manmade resources and that usage of anything in excess will lead to its worst result.
Another important lesson we have learnt is to look after our health, hygiene and immunity.
Let us remember and hold on to these lessons so when the struggle ceases to be, the world will be a better place to live and grow in.
