Khaitanotsav 2024

On August 24, 2024, Khaitan Public School hosted Khaitanotsav 2024, a vibrant cultural event organized by the Performing Arts Department. The event was a grand celebration of the creativity, talent, and cultural diversity embodied by our students. The day began with an inspiring opening ceremony that set the tone for the entire event. The ceremony included an introductory speech, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by our esteemed guests, and a captivating classical dance performance titled Viraha. The guests and dignitaries, including the Principal and Vice-Principal, were presented with mementos, followed by their encouraging speeches. A delightful performance by the students of Grades III and IV, Fly to Your Heart, added a touch of youthful exuberance to the proceedings. The opening ceremony concluded with the announcement of the competition open, and the students were briefed with general instructions for the day’s activities.

The cultural performances and competitions, held from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, showcased the exceptional talents of our students across various genres, including music, dance, and drama. The performances were met with enthusiasm and applause, reflecting the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers.

The closing ceremony, held from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, provided a fitting conclusion to the day’s events. The ceremony began with a brief recap of the day’s activities, followed by a concluding speech that highlighted the key moments of Khaitanotsav 2024. The school band, featuring students from Grades VIII to XI, delivered a stellar performance that captivated the audience. The much-anticipated results announcement saw winners declared in three genres: Sur Sangam, Hunkaar, and Rasanubhuti. A lively folk dance performance by Grade VII students further added to the cultural richness of the event. Awards were also presented in two additional genres, Jashn-E-Talk and Earth Matters, along with the declaration of the overall event winner. The day concluded on a high note with an energetic western dance performance titled Dhakad, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across various schools, contributing to the event’s success. 

Amity International School, Vasundhra became the Winner of the event by securing positions in the maximum number of events.

The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with praise for the performances, organization, and overall experience. Khaitanotsav 2024 was not only a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents but also a celebration of the cultural diversity and unity within our school community. The event was a resounding success, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of excellence in the years to come.
