Investiture Ceremony 2025-26

Khaitan Public School celebrated its prestigious Investiture Ceremony on 23rd May 2025, marking the formal induction of the Student Council and various student leaders for the academic session 2025–26. The event began with a warm Welcome and Introduction of the Prefectorial Board, followed by a spiritually uplifting Ganesh Vandana in the form of a Bharatanatyam performance, setting a graceful tone for the ceremony. The traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony symbolised the dispelling of darkness and the dawn of new leadership. This was followed by the Principal’s Address, where the importance of student voice, service, and accountability was shared with the audience.

The proceedings moved ahead with the Felicitation of House Position Holders from the four school houses — Sanskriti, Sumati, Pragati, and Jagriti — and the Handing Over of House Flags, symbolising a transition of responsibility. The much-anticipated Declaration of Central Council Positions followed, officially introducing the new council. A joyful Student Musical Performance added a celebratory spirit to the morning. This was followed by the Announcement of Class Representatives, acknowledging leadership at every level. A highlight of the ceremony was the Speech by the Head of the Student Council, Harshia Chopra, and the Deputy Head, Abhinav Singh, who spoke with clarity, vision, and commitment.

A powerful Theatre Performance by our newly appointed Performing Arts Captain, Aarth Gupta, captivated the audience with meaningful expression and passion, setting the scene for the Guest Address by Group Captain Shahla Abraham. With over 15 years of experience in the Indian Air Force Medical Services — including her service at Command Hospital Air Force and her current posting at 11 Air Force Hospital, Hindan — she is an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a respected doctor and mentor. Her address was both inspiring and grounding, as she spoke about resilience, compassion, and leading by example.

The ceremony reached its solemn peak with the Investiture Oath, where the newly appointed leaders pledged to uphold the school’s values and serve their community with integrity and purpose. The event concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks and Closing Address, leaving behind a sense of pride, promise, and collective responsibility. The Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 stood as a powerful reminder that at Khaitan Public School, student leadership is nurtured with care, respect, and vision for a better tomorrow.
