The Foundation Years at Khaitan Public School offers a joyful, play-based environment where curiosity leads the way and learning unfolds naturally. Rooted in the NEP and NCF, it nurtures foundational literacy and numeracy, communication, creativity, and problem-solving through multisensory and experiential experiences. Every child is encouraged to explore, imagine, and express; developing confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning.
At Khaitan, our Foundation Years learning spaces are thoughtfully crafted to spark curiosity, imagination, and joy.
The Foundational Years section is built on strong pedagogical practices, age-appropriate learning experiences, and an unwavering belief in each child’s potential. For me, these early years are the heart of schooling; where confidence is shaped, curiosity is sparked, and little steps turn into big milestones. Our approach blends structured literacy and numeracy with inquiry, play, and social–emotional development, ensuring that learning feels both meaningful and joyful.
As the Head of School for Foundational Years, I have the privilege of witnessing children grow a little every day; whether it’s a new word they read, a friendship they build, or a question that reflects their wonder. I am deeply proud of the culture of warmth, safety, and excellence that our team works tirelessly to uphold, and I feel truly honoured to be a part of each child’s beautiful beginning.
At Khaitan, our Foundation Years are guided by trained early childhood educators who understand the unique needs of young learners. With warmth, patience, and expertise, they create safe, engaging spaces where children feel seen, heard, and supported.
