The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI)’s emergency use authorization for Zydus Cadila’s covid vaccine may finally pave the way for educational institutions to reopen. The vaccine is expected to be available for children above 12 years by the end of September.
Many schools and state governments claim that they have made special arrangements in the schools to ensure Covid-19 protocols are being followed strictly. Parents across India are witnessing a great dilemma with several state governments directing the reopening of schools in their territories. While classes from IX to XII have resumed in some states, the remaining states are opening the schools from September 1
Khaitan Public School held its annual Investiture ceremony on the 13th of August for the announcement of The Helm/the Students Council 2021-22. The ceremony was held live on Zoom, and was organised with the skill and digital competency that everyone at KPS has adapted to. The evening began with an ode to Shiva – The Adi Yogi by Dev Aditya Tomar, a Khaitanian whose talent and mastery of the form held the audience in awe and appreciation.
Fearing long-term learning losses and impact on emotional, and social wellbeing of students, academicians across India are demanding for reopening of schools. Students too are eager to rejoin classes.
A two – day Virtual Leadership Camp organized for the members of Student Council on 30th and 31st of July, 2021 was about building core values that signify the making of a leader and the qualities that exhort one to become a better human being.
