Our theme this year focused on the success stories or the stories of survival during the pandemic and other challenging times and the victory over the challenges that were posed on people during the course of your life. The challenges spiraled them into successes of the highest level.
Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad, hosted its third TEDx event on the 24th of December, 2021 in the school auditorium in hybrid mode. The tagline for the event was ‘Surviving and Thriving-The Untold Success Stories.’ The school played host to 10 illustrious speakers from varied areas of expertise to address the gathering of more than 500 online and onsite attendees. Among the 10 amazing speakers were 3 Khaitanians. The event was graced by the presence of the Education Director Ms. Mamta Kapoor; the Vice Principal Teaching and Learning Dr. Himani Tyagi; the Vice Principal Pastoral Care, Mr. Anand Kumar and the Head of Senior School, Ms. Rishika Sharma.
The diverse cast of speakers took the stage one by one, sharing their ideas and experiences over the course of their allotted time duration. The excited audience got a chance to interact with each speaker and ask questions during the Q&A session, which transformed the event into a real and fruitful learning experience for all.
The fascinating journey began with a dynamic opening ceremony, complimented by a zestful dance performance “YOGESHWARAYA – A MUSICAL OFFERING TO ADIYOGI ” by the Khaitanians. Following that, the Education Director Ms. Mamta Kapoor energized the audience with her invigorating words. The first speaker, Ms. Lavinia Thanapathy, set the pace with her inspiring oration which was further enlivened by the musical performance of Kiran and Nivi. Thereafter, “FANAA”, a lovely dance performance by the Head Girl of the school, Ishita Bharadwaj, filled the entire atmosphere with serenity.
The event also witnessed the magnificent and spectacular ideas shared by Ms. Richa Sharma, Mr. Aditya Raj Kaul, Mr. Rahul Saria and Mr. Saurin Desai. The stimulating thoughts of Namya Joshi, Chhavi Koul, Devansh Bhardwaj and Advik Rohith were quite engaging. The closing ceremony was marked by the performance- “MALALA”, honouring the resilience and valour of Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.
The event culminated with the Vote of Thanks extended by the Event Organizer, Ms. Snehlata Chauhan. The parents appreciated the efforts of the school for providing a platform to the students to exhibit their innate talent. The attendees left the venue feeling enriched and invigorated after a day, well spent. The audience exclaimed that they felt intellectually and spiritually stimulated after the experience. TEDx KhaitanPublicSchool has, once again, proven to be a vibrant red feather in the school’s cap.
