Akshat Tewari is a seasoned professional with over ten years of leadership experience in the Education and IT sectors. Before joining Khaitan Education Centre (KEC) as the Director of Curriculum and Assessments, he significantly contributed as the Director of Academics at the Sitare Foundation. There, he successfully developed and implemented Sitare’s educational model and continues to serve as an Advisor to the Board.
Holding a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication, Akshat’s journey began as an engineer with a US-based MNC.
During his tenure, he volunteered with several NGOs, initiating projects to teach children in slums, orphanages, and juvenile homes. The profound impact of this work on at-risk children began to reshape his perspective on schooling and education, inspiring him to leave his corporate job for a more meaningful contribution in the education sector.
Since then, Akshat has dedicated himself to K-12 education, working as a data-driven educator with reputed organizations and schools, including Teach for India and Step by Step School.
