Khaitan Public School organized an orientation program on March 27, 2018, for the New Joinees to welcome them and facilitate their smooth integration in the school culture. The orientation day session made them feel at ease and introduced them to various departments and the teams leading them. The day started with an eclectic program of song, music, and dance which mesmerized everyone; followed by a detailed session by the Education Director Ms. Geeta Varshneya who talked about the school history and introduced the School Heads to the new group.
To achieve optimal levels of productivity and efficiency, Ms. Namrita Rathee, SLT member & ILD Head the orientation day and briefed everyone regarding the Organizational Values, Mission Statement and Learner’s Profile. Further to make the day interactive, the I-LEAD Coach Ms. Garima Bhasin, conducted a GITZ activity and elucidated about the I-LEAD program. The Session also had a walkthrough of the ISO processes by the System Coordinator, Ms. Archana Mahajan, and her team. Later on, an activity “Finish the Picture” was organised by the Guidance and Counselling Department to subtly explain how people perform in ambiguities and react to situations when there is no direction.
Illuminating the pioneering initiative of the Sports Vision, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Sports Head, took a session with the group and later the new employees were taken for a School tour to acquaint them with their new workplace and a special visit to the sports complex. All the new Khaitanians enjoyed themselves at the school shooting range.
Ms. Preeti Gupta, Head Admission & Parent Relations, described the Admission process in the school and the final session was conducted by Ms. Charu Sakhuja, Head-HR, wherein she presented the employee handbook about the rules and regulations. The session also covered information on the company benefits, pay dates, paid-time-off, and other work breaks and more.
The day culminated with a message that at Khaitan we live up to its credo – of employees being the organization’s greatest resource.
