In-House Clubs

Khaitan Public School has 12 Fundamental Clubs for encouraging students to learn various skills and activities, and to increase their involvement in the subjects of their interest. All the students from classes III to VIII are necessary to opt for at least one club activity of their interest. Each club has a structured curriculum which gives hands on experience to students

Western and Contemporary Dance Club

Mission : to make children aware of the cultural world around them and to learn the dance through fun and entertainment.

The Goals and objectives : To update children in the language of western and contemporary dance forms. The club aims in creating good dancers through the activities comprising fun entertainment and group activities. This club is formed to stretch their members' power of imagination to what they can achieve with these forms of dance.

Vocal Music Club

Mission : To enthrall children and make them aware of western music and enjoy the songs and instruments by introducing them to various songs and music.

The Goals and Objectives : to enhance student's musical experience by developing their listening skills and understanding of diverse forms and genres.

Pottery and Sculpture Club

Mission : To enthrall children and make them aware of western music and enjoy the songs and instruments by introducing them to various songs and music.

The Goals and Objectives : to enhance student's musical experience by developing their listening skills and understanding of diverse forms and genres.

Junk Modelling Club

Aero Modelling Club

2 Synthetic Lawn Tennis Courts and One Clay Tennis Court shows the commitment of Khaitan Public School to promote Lawn Tennis at all levels in the school.

Martial Arts Club

Khaitan Public School has one of the best basketball players in the country, which is evident by the fact that Indian national women team's captain studies at Khaitan. We have many basketball practice arena and 2 synthetic basketball courts.

Aesthetics Club

Mission : To create a group of creative students who will create projects both individually and collectively using a variety of innovative techniques to represent the school at various competitions.

The Goals and Objectives : The club aims to enhance the student's aesthetic appreciation and creative skills by guiding them to develop designs and art effects for textiles, ceramics, jewellery, articles of daily use and house interiors. They will learn to innovate by using easily available, organic and discarded material to create useful and attractive products.

Radio Club

Mission : To create a generation of young and enthusiastic and talented RJ'S who will outshine in their field.

The Goals and Objectives : To provide a platform the students to explore their oratory skills and enhance confidence in order to present or host various programme to the best of their abilities for Audio as well as Visual media.

The club also aims at acquainting the students with various radio stations, RJ's as well as the radio studio equipments used by them for the presentation.

Literary Club

Literature is like a mirror in which we see the reflection of the culture, language and customs of a particular age. The literary work of the great authors gives us a glimpse of their age. The literary club not only endeavours to make the students familiar with the eternal classics but also, will make a conscious effort to enhance their communication skills through activities like debate, extempore, JAM, story-telling, role play and many more.

Environment & Gardening Club

Environment Club is one of the most happening clubs in the school that makes a conscious effort to make the children aware of their responsibilities towards environment. Following campaigns are taken up regularly by the school.

  • "Say no to polythene bags inside school" - inculcate basket culture
  • "Say no to crackers" - reduce pollution
  • "Say no to chemical colours"
  • "Plant a tree & a day in your life" - sapling plantation
  • "Disposal of garbage"

Community Service Club

The Community Service club makes the students aware of their social responsibilities towards the deprived sections of the society and the physically challenged. The club on regular basis organises visits to NGO's like Goonj and blind school. It also encourages voluntary contributions like clothes, books and stationery for the destitutes. It regularly organises group discussions, quizzes, skits and role plays to develop empathy for the humanity. The students are encouraged to donate generously to 'Global Cancer concern, India' and 'Helpage India'

Theatre Club

"Expression" the dramatic club of school helps to bring out the best in students. Students will be taught to be act, express, speak confidently and respect great personality, artists, authors and poets.

Home Science Club

The home science club of school endeavours to acquaint the students with the abilities to be a good homemaker. The club's curriculum includes practical and theory classes along with the visits to restaurants, talks by interior designers, fashion designers and others who will motivate and enlighten students about their profession.

Students learn and exposed to the skills of embroidery weaving, decoration and learn the secrets of making sumptuous mouthwatering dishes.

Robotics Club

The computer club is for the students who are passionate about computing and communication. The club has two groups - hardware team and software team. Hardware group builds functional computer. Software group does programme animations and games. The club will be organizing activities like:

Public Speaking and Debate Club

Mission : To help the students develop their speaking skill, so that they can address a large audience with confidence and grace. The club aims to help the students to cultivate the ability to think and express freely and also to feel comfortable being in the spotlight. The Words Worth Club is responsible for the following

Goals & Objectives :

  • Learning techniques and skills of an effective debate.
  • Improving the communication skills: listening, thinking and speech.
  • Losing the fear of public speaking & increasing the level of comfort in presenting to audiences of various sizes.
  • Increasing negotiating skills.
  • Enhancing teamwork skills.
  • Expanding awareness of personal, local, state, national and world issues.
  • Thinking and acting in a logical and persuasive manner.
  • Learning to research effectively and analyze issues.
  • Table topics (impromptu speech exercise)
  • Speech marathons.
  • Improving body language in verbal communication.
  • Educational sessions, workshops, training sessions.

After each speech, peers provide the speaker with constructive feedback. The session will be twice a month to practise prepared presentations and impromptu speaking.
