Young teenies and tinies from Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2017 with lots of zest and zeal in the school premises. The excitement of young students was worth noticing when Ms. Gagandeep Kaur (HM, Junior Wing) and Ms. Namrita Rathee (Head of Innovations and Global Connections), hoisted the Indian flag on a higher platform. It was followed by the national anthem during which all 3-4 years old students stood up on their seats as instructed by their teachers.
Teachers and students come together on the stage to sing a patriotic song which enthralled one and all. Later, a group of students from UKG marched on the stage, led by their respective teachers. Each group was dressed in a way to share the national symbols of India with the students watching the parade.
At the end, all students sitting in the audience easily told the national symbols when asked by the comparator on the stage.
Students wore white kurtas with tricolor sashes and it was a beautiful sight to behold. They unfurled the sash into the air from time to time creating the aura of patriotism.
