  • An Assembly by Class XI E on the Noble Laureates of India

    On 6th December 2017, the students of class XI E presented the morning assembly on the theme “Nobel Laureates of India.” The assembly started with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra to invoke the blessings of God. Yashaswini Gupta, a student of XI E, enthusiastically spoke on the meaning and significance of the Nobel Prize. She also talked about the origin of the award and how its stature increased with time.


    Thereafter, students shared information about the lives of Indian Nobel Prize Winners. They talked about C. V. Raman, Kailash Satyarthi, and Rabindranath Tagore, and their valuable contribution in the field of Physics, Peace, and Literature respectively that earned them the Nobel Prize. Abhinav Sharma mesmerized everyone with his melodious rendition of Tagore’s famous composition ‘Aykla Chalo Re.’ He also sang ‘We are the World.’


    The assembly concluded with the words of encouragement from Mr. Anand Kumar, Senior Wing HM. He spoke words of encouragement that motivated the students to know more the great personalities of India. He also felicitated the winners of various sports events with certificates and medals.


    In all, it was a great start to a bright day.
